About
IABIG offers free tools to understand how artificial intelligence sees the web:
- the AI visibility checker tells you whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI crawlers can read and cite a page;
- the prompt injection detector finds hidden instructions aimed at AI tools in a page or a text;
- robots.txt generator, robots.txt tester, crawler IP verification and llms.txt generator;
- the AI crawler directory and the Observatory publish live, IP-verified data on real AI crawler activity;
- a free JSON API exposes all of the above.
How the tools work
All checks rely on explicit, documented rules (RFC 9309 for robots.txt, the publishers' official lists of crawlers and IP addresses): no AI model is called. Our scanner identifies itself honestly with the IABIG-Scanner/1.0 User-Agent and only fetches the requested page, its robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap (and, for the llms.txt generator, up to 25 pages listed in the sitemap).
Results are indicative: they are not an audit, and content quality remains the main reason a page gets cited by an AI.
